Abstract

Industrial automation, driven by Industry 4.0, has enabled significant advancements in productivity, efficiency, and safety. In this context, platforms such as Arduino stand out for their accessibility and flexibility, making them particularly valuable for small and medium-sized enterprises as well as academic applications. This study focuses on implementing an automation system using two interconnected Arduinos via serial communication to control solenoid valves and pneumatic actuators. While the system is based on existing resources, such as Arduino and simulation tools like Tinkercad, it aims to demonstrate the feasibility of low-cost automation solutions for industrial and educational purposes. The study provides insights into the integration of electronic and pneumatic systems with Arduino, emphasizing the accessibility and practicality of these solutions in industrial and educational contexts.
