Abstract

Objective: To analyze the prevalence of Burnout Syndrome in Nursing team professionals. Methods: Integrative review with 12 articles selected within the theme, articles published between 2018 and 2022, publications were 8.35% in 2018, 24.99% in 2019, 41.67% in 2020 and 24.99% in 2020, the increase in the Burnout Syndrome index was associated with mental and physical exhaustion, stress occupational, inappropriate environment. Results: The results show the need to seek resources and strategies that aim to improve professionals already diagnosed and reduce the number of new professionals and improve professional well-being. Disorders related to pre-existing illnesses, along with social isolation, anxiety and low self-esteem increase the chances of developing Burnout Syndrome. Conclusion: It can be concluded that the devaluation of the class of professionals, fast-paced work routine, demotivation, lack of sectoral organization, frayed professional relationships between the work team and other factors can increase the chances of professionals being diagnosed with Burnout Syndrome and the damage is not only for the population whose level of assistance is impaired but also for the professionals and the work environment as the level of service drops and interferes with the recognition and appreciation of the establishment.
